Bulgogi Beef

INGREDIENTS
- 1kg beef fillet, sliced
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms
- 1 x recipe beef marinade (see below)
- 1 x butter lettuce washed and cored
- 2 x cups cooked rice
BEEF MARINADE
- ½ white onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 x 2cm knob ginger
- 1 red apple
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 2 tbs agave
- 1 tbs seasoning, Maggi
- 1 ½ tbs pure maple syrup
- 1 tbs sesame seeds
- 1 tbs sesame oil
DIRECTIONS
BEEF MARINADE
- Place all the Beef Marinade ingredients into the 700ml cup; securely attach the blending blade holder to the cup.
- Align the cup onto the motor base, press down and turn the cup clockwise to blend. Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
- Unscrew the blending blade holder and marinade is ready to use.
BULGOGI
- Marinate beef in the marinade overnight or at least 2 hours.
- Heat your KAMBROOK banquet frypan.
- Place marinated beef in a single layer into KAMBROOK electric frypan. Leave for 1 minute, then turn over. Cook to your liking. (Be sure not to overcook or it will be tough to eat)
- Serve on a bed of rice or spoon into lettuce cups with a spoonful of cooked rice.
