INGREDIENTS
- 10g butter, melted
- 1 can cooked apples
- 1 cups frozen mixed berries
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
TOPPING
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 25g butter
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup macadamia nuts, crushed
- 1 tbsp desiccated coconut
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, apples, berries, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg until well combined.
- Spoon mixture into 3 small serving dishes (soufflé moulds are perfect) or you can use one larger dish, though this might take a little bit longer to bake in the oven.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar and butter. Rub the butter in with your fingers so that the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Mix in oats, nuts and coconut.
- Sprinkle over berry mixture, about an inch thick.
- Preheat the air frying oven to 180°C and turn the timer dial to 5 minutes.
- Once the ‘HEATING’ light goes off, turn the timer dial to 15-20 minutes.
- Place the dishes into the Air Chef basket and allow to cook or until golden on top.
- Serve with milk or yoghurt, or a dollop of ice cream.
TIP: you can also just make the crumble in one big dish but it will take a little bit longer.
